Last year, bi3 and its strategic partner TriHealth selected Scale Strategic Solutions to conduct a health and healthcare needs assessment in Butler County, Ohio. The needs assessment was conducted in two phases. Phase One included reviewing quantitative data on the state of health in Butler County. Phase Two focused on gathering qualitative data through one-on-one interviews, focus groups, and community forums with healthcare providers, community leaders, and community members in the County. The final report and action plan identified several opportunities to build health equity in Butler County. Based on the work of Scale Strategic Solutions, bi3 recently issued a request for proposal to address the findings. Proposals for projects increasing health services and resources in Bulter County are being accepted in a two-part process. A Letter of Intent is due by May 20, 2024, and the full proposal is due by July 29, 2024.
