Implicit Bias Training & Development
(2019 – 2023)
Scale Strategic Solutions upskilled more than 1,000 maternal health professionals statewide, weaving implicit bias science with Cultural Intelligence (CQ®) practice. Participants completed CQ® assessments pre-training and again 60–90 days later; the final cohort posted 15-point jumps in both CQ® Knowledge and CQ® Action, with gains across every measured domain. The maternal health workforce is now better equipped to neutralize bias to improve outcomes for mothers and babies.

2024 Community Health Worker Workforce Assessment

Scale Strategic Solutions team designed culturally tuned protocols and ran eight focus-groups in English and Spanish
capturing unfiltered insights from frontline Community Health Workers. The insights helped advance the understanding of community health in Ohio for institutional practices.
