Degrees When Due: Lighting the Path

Scale Strategic Solutions assisted the Institute for Higher Education Policy (IHEP) in implementing the Degrees When Due program for three years. This program is important because it supported 200 institutions in 23 states in reengaging students who have some college experience but have not completed their degree.

The Degrees When Due final report, Lighting the Path to Remove Systemic Barriers in Higher Education and Award Earned Postsecondary Credentials, is now available.  It shares key findings on barriers to reenrollment, persistence, and completion; strategies to best support returning students; and offers recommendations to promote equitable degree completion.

Mamie Voight, IHEP’s President and CEO said, “We’re incredibly proud of our DWD partners and celebrate with them and with the students who have now been awarded the credentials they worked so hard to earn.”
